How to overclock iPhone CPU

After overclocking iPhone or iPod Touch your iDevice will be faster and more efficient. We stress however that the operation is dangerous and might brick your iPhone too. In order to unlock the functionality, follow our guide to overclock your iPhone.

Steps to Overclock or increase CPU Speed of iPhone and iPod Touch

Step 1. Navigate to System/Library/System/System Configuration/PowerManagement.bundle/

Step 2. You will see a file named “com.apple.SystemPowerProfileDefault.plist”

Step 3. Instead of editing, you are just rename it to “SystemPowerProfileDefaultbak.plist” so the device does not recognize it.

Step 4. Do a reboot and you overclock your iPhone.

Increasing the clock speed can cause the CPU’s lifespan reduce and is therefore not recommended. Do at your own risk. I will not be held responsible for bricking your iPhone.

Comparison of Nexus One & iPhone

The long wait for the Android OS phone is finally out. Higher specs are found in comparison the iPhone as you can see below. The greatest advantage is the removal SD card up to 32 G. Great 5.0 Mega Pixels Camera and great Video capture resolution and high frame rate. The battery is removal and has a longer talk time of 7 hours compared to iPhone of 5 hours.

Apple iPhone doesnt allow multi-tasking which is backward but the Nexus One allows that. This show confidence on the stablity of the OS and power of the processor.

Iphone has over 130 ooo applications but Nexus One has about 20,000 at this moment. Maybe we have to look into the quality of the applications rather than the numbers 🙂

Unfortunately, is not available yet in the part of the world. So I will not compare on the plans.

iPhone 2G A2DP enable – stereo wireless Bluetooth streaming

iPhone 2G stereo wireless Bluetooth streaming
I have recently found a new application that enables wireless stereo streaming of iPhone 2Gusing A2DP profile. The application can be easily installed via Cydia through apt.dmytro.me source. Once installed, just run the application, switch on A2DP and reboot. Go to Setting>General>Bluetooth and pair your stereo headset. If you look on the screenshot, the volume slider at the lower screen has been replaced by the wireless headset name and with a bluetooth logo on the right.

Wikipedia Definition – Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP)
This profile defines how high quality audio (stereo or mono) can be streamed from one device to another over a Bluetooth connection. For example, music can be streamed from iphone to a wireless headset or car audio or from a laptop/desktop to a wireless headset.
A2DP was initially used in conjunction with an intermediate Bluetooth transceiver that connects to a standard audio output jack, encodes the incoming audio to a Bluetooth-friendly format, and sends the signal wirelessly to Bluetooth headphones that decode and play the audio. Bluetooth headphones, especially the more advanced models, often come with a microphone and support for the Headset (HSP), Hands-Free (HFP) and Audio/Video Remote Control (AVRCP) profiles

What’s new in iPhone OS 3.1.2 firmware update

Apple has released iPhone OS 3.1.2 on the 8th October 2009, addressing several issues on waking from sleep, network service issue and disruption, and video streaming crashed. iPhone users should connect their iPhones to iTunes and click the “Check for Update” button to obtain the new version.
Details of the release included:

– Resolves sporadic issue that may cause iPhone to not wake from sleep
– Resolves intermittent issue that may interrupt cellular network services until restart
– Fixes bug that could cause occasional crash during video streaming

I have upgraded mine and do not seems to notice any changes. However, the greatest changes i have notice is the pissing off the entire jailbreak community. This has again been quickly and easily resolved by the experts! 🙂

Mafia Wars Cheats up to trillion of dollars

mw1mw2Mafia Wars? Ya it is popular in facebook and now in iPhone..
Play this game if you have retired, or if you have too much time to kill..

Wanna impress your friends? Here I have found the glitches.. the game is kind of time base, where your energy and stamina will be an incremental based on time,… yes time? which means seconds, minutes, hour, day and month and year. THis is how you trick the application by changing the date and time in your iphone.

It is been done by advancing the date from the current date
or
going back furthest up to 1970 and change the date in yearly increment. After every new dates applied, play a few games like buying properties or fight or look for jobs.

The key to the glitch is
1) to sync after you’ve made the glitched changes
2) delete the app from your iPhone
3) then re-sync and reinstall.

Another way is
1) to do what ever you want to increase the money in your account
2) once satisfy set the date and time to the current
3) You’ll notice that your money, energy, and stamina regeneration is a messed up. We’re going to fix that in the next steps.
4) Connect your iPhone to your PC and sync it.
5) On the iPhone delete the Mafia Wars application.
6) Connect to your PC and sync again, re-selecting Mafia Wars so it re-installs.
7) Disconnect, open Mafia Wars and your game is back to normal, but you’re now making loads of cash.

Have fun cheating!
